Administrator app
By downloading the administrator app, you can view the mobile application on your computer. To download the administrator app, go to the application Mobile in the Genkgo Admin. Choose the application you want to download. The dashboard tab ‘General’ contains a segment called ‘Administrator app’. Here you can download the administrator app.
You can download the administrator app for Mac OS or for Windows. When you click on ‘download’, a zip file will be downloaded to your computer. This zip file needs to be extracted before you can open the administrator app.
Microsoft Windows
Open the zip file, for example with Windows Explorer. Select the entire folder and click on ‘Extract all’. You can then choose the folder in which you want to place the extracted files. Click on ‘Extract’ again.
As soon as the extraction is complete, you can open the folder. Open the file ‘vweb-app’ to open the administrator app.
Apple Mac OS
The administrator app is supported by Mac OS 10.10 (Yosemite) or newer versions.
When you download the administrator app from the browser Safari, the zip files will be extracted automatically. You only need to open the folder and open the file ‘Verenigingen App’. The administrator app will be opened when you open this file. If you download the zip file from Safari but it is not automatically extracted, check in Safari settings – Preferences – General whether the option 'open ‘safe’ files after downloading' is selected.
If you use Google Chrome, you can extract the zip file by double clicking on it. A folder with the file ‘vweb-app’ will open. Open this file. The administrator app will be opened.
You may get a warning when you try to open a program. If you do, you can ignore the security settings and open the program:
- Select the program you want to open in Finder. Do not use Launchpad for this, as Launchpad doesn’t give you access to the contextual menu.
- Press the command key (on Apply keyboard, on other keyboards this is Control) while clicking on the program. Then click ‘open’ in the contextual menu.
- Click on ‘Open’.
You Mac will remember that this program is an exception to the security settings. In the future, you can open the program by doubly clicking on it just as you do for other programs.
