Display of profile page
In the tab ‘Profile’ of the element ‘Settings’, you can indicate which fields should be visible on the profile page in the members list (when someone is logged in).
User types must be activated before you can add fields to them. Click on ‘Add’ in the toolbar of the main screen of the tab. Select the correct type of user type and click on ‘activate’. In the main screen, you can now click on the activated user type to change the settings.
Category of fields
First, you need to add a category of fields. Under this category, you can add the fields that should be visible on the profile pages of users of this type. Click on ‘Add category’ in the toolbar. Enter a title, for example ‘contact details’. Then click on ‘save’. You will now see the created category in the overview under ‘Category of fields’.
Delete category
To delete a category of fields, click on on the right side of the category in the overview. Confirm with ‘delete’ or cancel with ‘Back’.
Fields
After creating the categories of fields, you can add fields to these categories. Click on a category in the overview. Then click on ‘Add field’ in the toolbar.
Give the field a name and then choose the field from the Organization Application you want to show behind ‘Field’. Learn how to create new Organization fields. Under ‘Privacy’, indicate whether the field should only be displayed in profiles of users who gave permission to show their expanded profile.
Click on ‘save’ to confirm the settings.
Delete field
To delete a field, click on on the right side of the field in the overview. Confirm with ‘delete’ or cancel with ‘Back’.
Change display
In the overview of categories, the toolbar contains the button ‘Change display’. When you click on this button, you can indicate how the information of a user type should be displayed on the profile page. The following things can be determined:
- Display name – Here you can indicate the display name of users. You can choose an automatically defined display name, ‘Formal’ or ‘Informal’, or you can choose an Organization field that contains the display name.
- Image – Here you can choose whether a logo or photo should be displayed.
- Display context – Here you can add more context to the display of the profile. This context will be displayed behind the display name of the user. Choose the type of information in the field ‘Display context’. This should be an Organization field. In the field ‘Separation sign’, you can choose the character with which the display name and the context should be separated.
- Contact – These fields are used when a user wants to directly contact another user. Here you can indicate the Organization fields for the phone number and e-mail address.
Click on ‘save’ to confirm the changes.
