Step 2: Select recipients
Genkgo Communication is designed in a way that it is equipped to reach large amounts of people at the same time. Because of this, it is possible to not only add individuals as recipients, but also folders, (dynamic) groups and companies from the Organization Application.

Selecting recipients
Click on ‘Group or folder’ if you want to add a folder or group from the Organization as recipients. Click on ‘Individual’ if you want to add individuals.
Adding a group or folder
- Behind ‘Type’, indicate whether the folder or group should be added as recipients or excluded from the recipients (in which case the selected folder/group will not receive the e-mail).
- Select the correct group or folder in the Organization tree. You can unfold folders by clicking on the plus sign on the left side.
- Click ‘save’.
Adding individuals
- Behind ‘Search in Organization’, type the name of the person you want to add as recipient. A list of suggestions will appear. Select the correct person.
- Behind ‘Type’, indicate whether the individual should be added as recipient or excluded from the recipients (in which case the selected individual will not receive the e-mail).
- Click ‘save’.
The recipients have been saved and are displayed in a table. The table shows whether recipients are added or excluded. You can delete recipients by clicking the - on the right side.
If you want to add multiple recipients, repeat the steps above until all recipients have been added. Then click ‘next’ to go to step 3.
Someone included in the recipients doesn’t receive my e-mails
To receive e-mails from Communication, it is necessary that a person meets the following requirements:
- A valid e-mail address;
- Subscribed to the subscription selected in Step 1;
- Included in an element chosen in Step 2.
If a company profile is selected as recipient, the e-mail will be sent to all underlying contact persons belonging to the company.
