Sent items
The folder ‘Sent’ contains all messages that have been sent in the past.
How can I resend a message?
When a message is sent, it is automatically placed in the folder ‘Sent’. Follow the steps below to resend a message in the ‘Sent’ folder.
- In the Communication tree, go to ‘E-mail’ or ‘SMS’ under ‘Sent’.
- Click (copy) on the right side of the message or select the message and click ‘Copy’ in the toolbar.
- You will be asked if you are sure you want to copy the message. Click ‘Yes, I am sure’.
Your message will be copied to the drafts folder. When you go to the drafts, you can select the message and go trough the steps again.
It is also possible to resend a message directly from the folder ‘Sent’. This is especially convenient when you forgot to add someone as beneficiary and you do not want to configure the message again.
To do this, go to the message in the folder ‘Sent’ and go to the tab ‘Beneficiaries’. Click ‘Add’. You will see a new screen where you can enter the details of the beneficiary you want to add. Enter the name of the recipient, and behind ‘Address’, enter their e-mail address. Then click ‘send’ to send the message to the added beneficiary.
This is also a good way to send messages from the Communication Application to persons who are not in the Organization.
Link to anonymous version of e-mail
Messages in the ‘Sent’ folder contain a tab with statistics. Several properties and statistics are displayed here. On the bottom of the element ‘Properties’, you can find a link to an anonymous version of the message. Anonymous here means that no personal salutation is used. This link can be helpful, for example when you want to link to the message on your website.
