Themes
Usually, abstract presentation revolve around one or more set subjects or themes. When submitting an abstracts, submitters are required to choose one of the set themes that fit the subject of their paper. The possible themes can be added in the element ‘Themes’.
When you click on ‘Themes’, you will see an overview of the added themes. The table displays the name of the theme, the number of reviewers, the number or abstracts with this theme, the abstract types that may be submitted with this theme (abstract types can be managed in the general settings of the Events Application), the submission period and the reviewing period. Click on to delete a theme.
Add theme
Click on ‘Add’ in the toolbar.
- Enter the name of the theme.
- Select ‘Anonymous review’ if the author names should not be visible during the review of abstracts with this theme.
- Enter the maximum words allowed for the content of the abstract.
- Select the allowed types for this theme. The types can be added in the general settings of the Events application.
- Enter the start and end of the submission period. This is the period in which abstracts with this theme may be submitted.
- Enter the start and end of the reviewing period. This is the period in which abstracts with this theme must be reviewed.
Click on ‘save’ to confirm. The new theme will appear in the overview.
