Payment methods
If the event includes payed ticket options, you can indicate the payment methods that can be used to pay the tickets. The participant can choose between the methods made available.
To create a payment method, go to the element ‘Payment methods’. Click on ‘Create’. You will see a new screen with several fields:
- Name – Enter the description of the payment method, e.g. ‘iDEAL payment’.
- Code – Select one of the payment methods that are available for your system. Some examples of possible available options are:
- Mollie/Stripe Ideal
- Mollie/Stripe Credit Card
- On location
- Invoice
- Collective invoice
- Direct Debit
- Prices – Optional. Here, enter possible fixed and/or variable extra costs for ordering the product, e.g. shipping costs. If you fill in both fields, the variable costs will be calculated based on the total amount plus the fixed costs.
Important! If you indicated a VAT percentage in the element ‘Prices’, this will also apply to costs entered in this element, e.g. shipping costs. - Validity – Optional. Here you can enter a final validity date of the payment method.
Save the payment method. If you want to make multiple payment methods available for this event, repeat the steps above until all methods have been entered.
