Create a new event
To create a new event, hover over ‘New’ in the toolbar of the overview and choose the correct kind of event. You will then see a screen where you can fill in several fields:
- Title – Enter the name or title of the event.
- Organizer – Choose the organizer of the event from the drop-down menu.
- Input language – Select the language of the event so that it will be published on the website in the correct language. Later, you can set translations so that the event can be published in multiple languages.
After creating the event
After creating the event, there is much that you can add to the settings. You can write a description of the event to publish on the website. If there are multiple ticket options available for the event, you can add a description to each ticket option as well.
Creating a 1-click registration
1-click registration events are designed to create as fast as possible. Therefore, when creating a 1-click registration event, you will have to fill in some additional fields.
- Begin date - The begin date and time of the event;
- End date - The end date and time of the event;
- Publish on - Enter the date on which the event should be published on the website. If you don't have a publication date yet, you can leave this field empty;
- Websites - Select the website(s) on which the event should be published;
- Image - Upload an image to display on the website in the overview of events;
- Description - Enter a description of the event. Users will see this description when they click on the event.
