Reservation and visibility
In this tab, you can make the default settings that should be used when creating an event. Settings you enter here can still be changed per event.
Default group
Often, groups and folders from the Organization, e.g. members, are added to an event as groups to allow users to register. When you create many events for the same groups, you can save time by indicating which groups should be added automatically when creating an event.
Visibility event
Here, indicate for whom the event is visible on the website.
Reservation period 1-click registration
Here, indicate until when persons can register for a 1-click registration event. You can choose from:
- Until 15 minutes before start event
- Until 1 hour before start event
- Until 1 day before start event
When you select ‘Activate cancellation’, a cancellation option, only valid in the reservation period of the ticket option, is automatically activated. The default refund is set for 0%, which means that persons do not get any money back upon cancellation.
Display of prices
Select this option if you want prices to be displayed including VAT by default.
Venue information
If events often take place in the same venue, you can set the default venue here.
Confirmation e-mail
Here you can create a default confirmation e-mail that will be sent for 1-click registration events. Enter the sender e-mail and sender name, the subject and the content of the message under ‘Text’.
Click ‘save’ to confirm.
Participant list
When you are publishing a participant list on the website, you can indicate how the names of the participants will be displayed here. You can do this by using placeholders. By default, the field contains the following placeholders:
{{organization:name}} ({{tickets}}x)
Dit means that the list shows the display name of the participant, followed by the number of tickets in their possession in brackets. For example:
John Smith (2x)
You can edit this field with other placeholders. If you want to use a profile field from the Organization Application, formulate the placeholder as follwos: {{organization:name}}. Here, ‘organization:’ refers to the Organization Application, and ‘name’ refers to the field display name. The element ‘name’ should be replaced with the placeholder for the field to which you want to refer. To find out how a field is formulated in a placeholder, go to the Organization Application → Settings → Fields & Properties and look at the column ‘placeholder’.
