Create folders
To sort your files efficiently, you can create folders. To do this, click on ‘Create folder’. Fill in the name of the folder and confirm with ‘create’. You can create an unlimited amount of folders.
You can also create subfolders. To do this, go to an existing folder, choose for ‘Create folder’ and enter the name of the folder. Click on ‘Create’ to confirm.
On the left side of the screen, the Files tree gives an overview of the folders. Sub folders appear when you click on a folder with sub folders.
Secure folders
Folders can be secured. This means that the content of the folders is only accessible for a selected group of people. For example, you might want to make certain folders only accessible for board members or for logged in members. This also means that secured files that you publish on the website will only visible for logged in users with access to the folder in which the files are located.
Go to the folder you want to secure and click ‘Secure’ in the toolbar. Under ‘Specification’, enter the name of the folder, group or person from the Organization that should have access to the folder. You will see a list of suggestions appear.
When you secure a folder, all underlying folders will also be secured automatically. If the parent folder is not secured, a sub folder can be secured separately.
