2. Invoice
In this element, you are going to set up the content of the invoice. You can create invoice lines and place a comment on the invoice.
Create invoice line
Click on ‘Add new invoice line’ in the toolbar. You will see a screen with several fields:
Line
- Line – Enter the name of the invoiced product here. For example, if the relation purchased a T-shirt, you can enter ‘T-shirt’.
- Amount – Enter the amount of the product (in the case of our example this would be the price of the T-shirt). It is possible to enter a negative amount. If the total amount of the invoice is negative, it will be sent as a credit invoice.
- Number – Here you can enter the number of products indicated in ‘Line’. If the relation purchased multiple T-shirts, you can enter the number of T-shirts here.
VAT
If the community is VAT liable, you need to specify how much tax should be payed for the product. If the community is not VAT liable, select ‘Exempt’ in the field ‘Type’.
- Type – Choose from the following types:
- Exempt
- Percentage
- VAT Reverse charge Europe
- VAT 0% outside Europe
- VAT – If you selected the type ‘Percentage’, enter the percentage of VAT here.
Click on ‘save’ to confirm.
The invoice line will now appear in the overview. Repeat the steps above to add multiple invoice lines. You can add an unlimited number of invoice lines.
