Bank accounts
The tab ‘Bank accounts’ contains all bank accounts of the relation that are known to the community. If the relation profile is linked to an Organization profile and the IBAN field is synchronized, the IBAN from the Organization profile will be visible in this tab.
An IBAN and BIC are required for the use of direct debit. If you use direct debit, we recommend to synchronize IBAN and BIC fields with the Organization.
Add a bank account
You can always add more bank accounts to a relation profile. You can also indicate which bank account is standard. The standard bank account will be used for all invoices, unless indicated otherwise.
Click on ‘Add’. Select ‘Default’ to make this the standard bank account. Then enter the IBAN and BIC.
The option ‘Inactive’ can be used to indicate that the bank account cannot be used for invoices anymore. Bank accounts with linked transactions cannot be deleted from a relation profile. Therefore, you will need this option when relations change their bank account.
Click on ‘save’ to confirm. The new bank account will appear in the overview.
Edit a bank account
Click on on the right side of the bank account in the overview. You can edit the fields as when creating the account. Click on ‘save’ to confirm.
Delete bank account
Only bank accounts that have no linked transactions can be deleted. If there are transactions linked to a bank account, you can only deactivate the account. To do this, click on on the right side of the bank account in the overview. Select ‘Inactive’ and click ‘save’.
If there are no transactions linked to the bank account, you can delete it. Click on on the right side of the bank account in the overview. Confirm with ‘delete’ or cancel with ‘Back’.
