Create new e-mail address

From the overview of e-mail addresses under the chosen domain, you can also create new e-mail addresses. When you create a new e-mail address, you can choose whether or not it should have an inbox and to forward the e-mails to this address to other e-mail addresses.

  1. Click on ‘Add’ in the toolbar. You will see a new screen.
  2. Enter the name of the e-mail address. This is the part of the address that should be in front of the @.
  3. When you select the option ‘Activate INBOX’, the new e-mail address will have its own inbox in which you can open the e-mails directed to the address. If you don’t select this option, the address won’t have an inbox.
  4. Behind ‘Forward to’, you can enter e-mail addresses to which mailing directed to the new address should be forwarded.
  5. Click on ‘save’.

The system will check if the entered data is correct. When the e-mail address has been created, you will be redirected to the overview. The new e-mail address is added to the list.

We don’t recommend using a forwarding address

An e-mail address without an inbox of which the e-mails are forwarded to other addresses is a forwarding address. We dont’ recommend using a forwarding address in most cases:

  • Only use a forwarding address if you want to just receive e-mails with the address, and not send e-mails.
  • If you want to send e-mails with the address, give the e-mail address an inbox.
