Dynamic invoice
Dynamic invoice lines make it possible to fine-tune your contribution. If certain discount or raise applies only to certain groups, e.g. honorary members and juniors, it is possible to apply this discount/raise in the same invoice by using dynamic invoice lines. You can add these lines to the existing contribution invoice.
- Make sure you know to whom the dynamic invoice lines apply and make sure these persons are grouped in the Organization Application.
- You can set up a dynamic invoice while creating the contribution invoice in step 3. Invoice.
- Click on ‘Dynamic invoice’. You can choose between ‘Rate based on group’ or ‘Rate based on field’.
- If you choose ‘Rate based on group’, in the next screen you will see a table. In this table, all groups from the Organization are displayed. On the top of the table, you can choose for ‘group’ or ‘dynamic group’.
- If you choose ‘Rate based on field’, in the next screen you will see a table in which the number fields from the Organisation are displayed.
- Invoice line – Enter the name of the line, e.g. ‘discount honorary member’.
- VAT – If vat applies, enter the amount of vat. Most communities are exempt from vat.
- Indicate whether you want to give discount or a rise. After indicating this, enter the amount or percentage in the applicable field. If you give discount in percentage and amount, both discounts are calculated based on the original invoice amount.
- When you are done filling in the fields, click on ‘apply’ at the bottom of the screen. If you have entered everything correctly, you will get the message ‘the contribution table has been saved’.
- Click on ‘Back’ to go back to the invoice lines.
- Proceed to step 4. Preview. Check the invoices for members who should get discount. If everything is correct, you can proceed to sending the invoices. If you decide to edit the invoice lines, go back to step 3. Invoice.
