Prepare relation profiles for direct debit
When you have all necessary information, you can start entering this in the relation profiles. For each member, you have to add the direct debit mandate separately.
Is all this information already filled in in the member profile in the Organization Application? In that case, you can automatically add the information to the relation profile with the function Synchronize with Organization. If the information is not present in the Organization profile, you can add it there, or in the the relation profile itself, under Relations – Direct debit mandates. However, if you enter the information in the relation profile, a later synchronization will overwrite these changes. We therefore recommmend entering the information in the Organization profile.
SEPA
All information regarding SEPA will automatically be filled in correctly. If you want to edit this information, go to Relations – Direct debit mandates. Here, enter the following information:
- Status – Indicate if the direct debit mandate is existing or new. What does this mean? Choose ‘first transaction’ if you have never debited money from the account of the relation. Choose ‘subsequent transaction’ if you have already done this (e.g. with another software system). If you enter ‘subsequent transaction’, you need to have an existing mandate number on hand.
- Mandate number – You can leave this field empty if you selected ‘first transaction’.
