Step 3A: View the sent contribution

You have sent the contribution. Members will now start to transfer the contribution, or the amount will be debitted from their accounts by the bank. The successful payments will have to be flagged in the system. This flagging is different for each payment method. Generally:

  1. Go to ‘Contribution’ and click on ‘Sent’. On the right, you will see all sent contributions. Look up the contribution you last sent and click on the subject.
  2. You will now see a list with all sent invoices within the contribution. Each member has his/her own invoice number. You can also see to which e-mail address the e-mail with the invoice was sent.
  3. In the column ‘Collection’, you can see whether payment is by direct debit () or by transfer ().
  4. Do you see a cross behind a member you expected to pay by direct debit? Then the necessary information to make direct debit possible is incorrect or incomplete. Check the information in the debtor profile of the member.
  5. You can find each individual invoice belonging to the contribution in the main element Invoicing – Sent.
