Contact history

When multiple people in your community are in contact with, for example, a potential client, it can be very helpful to keep a log of contact moments with that person. Doing this prevents miscommunication within the community, for example information being requested twice or someone being approached multiple times for the same reason. The most recently added contact moments appear on Genkgo Dashboard.

How do I add a contact moment to the log?

  1. In the Organization tree, go to the profile of the object to which you want to add a contact moment.
  2. Click on the tab ‘Contact history’.
  3. Fill in the form: choose the date, the type of contact (e.g. by phone or e-mail) and enter the outcome of the contact moment in the text box for comments.
  4. Click on ‘Save’.

The contact moment will now be saved. In the overview, your name and the contact moment appear together. The most recently added contact moments appear on the Dashboard.
