Object types

In the Organization you can add contacts and several other elements to your contacts. The different elements are called objects. There are several types of objects, each have their own function. By default, the following objects are included in Genkgo Organization:

• Person
• Company
• Folder
• Group
• Role
• Dynamic group

The information you can add for each object type is different. For persons, you can add information for one specific person, and for companies, you can add information that specifies the company. You can use folders to bring structure to your Organization. Persons and companies can also be structured into groups. By assigning a role to a person or group, you can give them access to login to the Genkgo Admin and work on the applications that are relevant for their function. Dynamic groups are groups that change automatically based on the search query that you performed to create the dynamic group.
