Group
Next to structuring persons and companies into folders, it is also possible to structure them into groups. Individual persons can be assigned to one or more groups. You can use the groups to get a better overview of the people within your community. A community may choose to put all committees into their own groups. For companies, there could be different groups for staff members and partners.
Besides improving the Organization’s structure, groups are also useful in securing pages in the Website Application and for communicating in the Communication Application.
The following tabs can be found on the main screen of a group:
- Information – Here you can name the group.
- Contact history – Here you can keep a log of all contact moments with a group. (v.13)
- Access – Here you can manage access rights for the group.
- Members – Here you can indicate which persons belong to the group.
