Audit log

In the Genkgo system, the Organization Application is the central application on which many other applications depend. If a mistake is made in the Organization, there is a big change it has consequenses for other applications as well.

Because of this, when multiple persons work in the Admin, it is useful to know who did what in the Organization. If a person, folder, group or other entity has suddenly disappeared, it is easy to find out what exactly happened to it and who did it.

That is why there is an audit log in the system settings. You can find the autit log by clicking on the gear icon in the top right corner of your screen. In the left menu, choose for ‘audit-log’. You will see an overview of all actions that were executed in the Organization Application. The overview contains the following columns:

  • Moment – This is the date and time on which the action was performed.
  • Action – Here you can find the kind of action that was performd, e.g. ‘profile changed’, ‘profile moved to trash’.
  • Entity – The object in question.
  • By – The person who performed the action. If you click on the e-mail address, you will be redirected to corresponding profile in the Organization.
  • Additional data – When you click on the button ‘{}’ here, you will see a pop-up with additional information about the action.
