Add products

Adding products for rental works the same as adding products for retail. Note the following:

• Product line for rental – A product line has its own section in the webshop. To create a separate segment for rental on the website, create a product line for rental and connect the rental products to this product line.

• Confirmation e-mail – It can be useful to set up a confirmation e-mail for rantal products. The confirmation e-mail that is sent in response to the use of a payment method contains general information about the order, e.g. the invoice. The confirmation e-mail of a product can be used to communicate product specific information. You can also include the rental period in the e-mail with the placeholders {{rental-start}} (begin rental) en {{rental-end}} (end rental).

It is also possible to add tags and images to rental products.
