Products
In the element ‘Products’, you can manage your products. These products won’t automatically appear in the webshop. In the element ‘Shop’, products can be placed in the webshop including prices.
Products in the element ‘Products’ can be viewed in the tabs ‘All’, ‘Per product line’ and ‘Per tag’.
New product
Click on ‘New product’ in the toolbar.
Properties
- Name – Fill in the name of the product, e.g. ‘Sweater’.
- Product line – Choose the product line under which the product belongs.
Click on ‘save’.
- Delivery – Choose a preferred delivery method. Here you can choose from all available delivery methods. Then fill in the weight of the product (in grams). Find here how a delivery method will be chosen for an order. It is also possible to disable delivery for a product. To do this, select the option ‘This product does not require delivery’.
- Properties – Here you can fill in all the preset properties for the product line.
- Confirmation e-mail –Create the e-mail that should be sent to the user after paying the order. This is especially useful for products that require additional explanation or that are delivered per e-mail, for example digital products. Select the option ‘BCC’ to receive the e-mail on the sender address as well.
Click on ‘save’.
You will now see the overview of all products. You can now add tags and images to the product. Click on the product and go to the tabs ‘Tags’ and ‘Images’ to add those.
Tags
This tab contains the tags that are added to the product. Although it is possible to add an unlimited amount of tags to a product, we recommend using a maximum of two tags per product and to use six tags in total for the entire store. This will help keep the webshop organized.
Click on ‘New tag’ to add a tag to the product. Type the name of a tag. If this tag already exists in another product, it will appear as an option to choose from.
Click on ‘save’.
Images
Here you can add images of the product, which will be visible on the website. Click on ‘Add image’.
Upload the images from your computer. You can either do this by dragging them to the upload box or by clicking on ‘add files’ and selecting them from your file library. Then click on ‘start upload’. When the upload is finished, you will see the images in the screen.
Now set one image as the default image. This image will be used in the overview of products and will be displayed as the first image on the detail page of the product.
To delete an image, select ‘Delete?’ under the image. Then click on ‘save’.
