About Genkgo Website
In the Website Application, you can easily manage your website(s). The setup of this application is as straightforward as possible so that managing the website is a simple task. You don’t need much technical knowledge to be an administrator of your community’s website.
The most important rule when editing your website
When your are working on the website, the most important thing to keep in mind is that the website will have a stylized representation. Genkgo transforms the information you enter in the Admin into the display of your website. That is why it is very important that you also look at the result on the website itself when you are done making adjustments in the Admin of the Website Application.
The design of the Website Application
To go to the Website Application, you need to login to Genkgo and click on ‘Website’ in the menu on the left side of the screen. If you have access to multiple websites, you will first see a screen with an overview of the websites. Choose which website you want to work on.
1. The Website tree
Navigation through the Genkgo Admin is predominantly done by using tree structures. The pages of you website are displayed in the Website tree. This tree is located on the left side of the screen.
Navigating in the Website tree
The name of your website is the stem of the Website tree. In this tree, the different web pages are displayed. Each additional page you create will appear here as well.
Pages in the Website tree
When you click on the title of a page, an editing screen will appear. In this screen, you can adjust the page and add content with the available modules.
If the web page contains subpages, the page will have a plus icon in front of its title in the Website tree. When you click on this icon, it will unfold and the subpages will appear.
2. The main screen
The main screen shows all content of the web page selected in the Website tree. This content is divided into tabs, each corresponding with different parts of the website. Within the tabs, the different modules are displayed.
