Redirect a page to a website form
Forms do not appear in the menu of the website. To make a form available, you need to refer to it on another page. There are several ways to do this.
Option 1: Move the page
The page with the form can be moved to another place on the website. This way, the form becomes the subpage of a menu item.
- In the toolbar, click on ‘Move’ under ‘More options’.
- Select the page in the Website tree under which the form should be placed.
- Confirm with ‘move’.
Option 2: Internal reference
You can copy a form to another location on the website through an internal reference. The data of the original and the copy will still be linked to each other. This means that changes in either the copy or the original will also affect the other form.
- In the Website tree, go to the form you want to copy.
- In the toolbar, click on ‘Internal reference’ under ‘More options’.
- In the Website tree, indicate under which page the form should be placed.
- Confirm with ‘create reference’.
Option 3: Use a link to the form
A much simpler way is to place a link to the form on another web page.
- In the URL-bar of your browser, type the location of the form. This consists of the URL of your website, the name of the forms page and the name of the form itself.
For example: www.yourdomain.nl/forms/yourform - You can check if the link is correct by pressing enter. If the link is correct, you will see the form.
- Copy the link.
- Paste the link into the text editor of another page.
